Service Agreement

By hiring Thomson's Lawn Care, you agree to our standard terms and conditions.

1. Services: 

There are 3 types of services offered at this time. 

1. • Grass cutting and trimming can be booked on-demand or under seasonal contract. This includes lawn cutting, trimming, bagging of clippings (by request), and sidewalk clean-up. All equipment used in the delivery of this service is provided by Thomson's Lawn Care.

   • Spot Require and Top dressing can be booked on-demand. This service is quoted as a fixed price per square metre. The service includes 1) scarification of the affected spot(s) 2)top dressing with enriched lawn appropriate soil 3) sewing of lawn seed 4) lightly compact. All time and materials are included in the fixed price. it is always recommended that the repaired spots are watered regularly for 2 weeks during the germination period. 

   • Yard Clean-up and Seasonal chores can be booked on-demand. 

     • Current services include:

• Raking and bagging leaves and other rubbish

• Fertilizing 

• Weeding and planting

• Power washing

• Hedge trimming

• Extra fees:

• All work is quoted and requires approval

• All materials are extra (such as yard bags & fertilizer)

2. Service Frequency: 

   • Lawn cutting and trimming can be booked on-demand or on a seasonal contract.  Perference is provided to seasonal contracts. For a healthy, well maintained lawn we typically recommend a cut every 10 days.

   • All other services must be quoted and will be delivered on-demand and are all subject to availability. 

3. Pricing, Rates and Payment: 

   • Pricing estimates provided verbally or in writing are non-binding and are subject to change. 

   • Rates may also change without notice. 

   • Payment is due upon completion of service (if the service is on-demand) or on the 15th of the month (if subscribed to a monthly plan). Late payments may result in additional charges. Payment can be made in cash or through Interac e-transfer to payments@thomsonslawncare.com 

4. Cancellation Policy

   • If you need to cancel or reschedule a service appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee.

5. Liability

Our team is committed to providing high-quality service, but we cannot be held liable for any damage to property or injury resulting from our work.

6. Weather Conditions

We may need to reschedule a service appointment in the event of inclement weather, such as heavy rain or snow.

7. Communication 

We value open communication with our clients and welcome feedback on our services. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or concerns.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time with written notice.

9. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada.

10. Entire Agreement

This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or verbal.

Current boundaries of service

Zone 1: Carlaw East to Coxwell. South of the train tracks.

Zone 2: Broadview east to Woodbine. South of Danforth Ave.

Zone 3: Broadview east to Main st. South of O'Connor
